Sandra Lukey, Director

Sandra has spent the last 15 years working in marketing and communications, public relations, event management and business development. She has a special interest in the high tech and biotech sectors and has worked for some of New Zealand's top companies and well known international companies.

Sandra is passionate about building networks and connecting people. She has developed an extensive network spanning industry, business, government, research and education. Her high level network includes top expats who wish to develop or maintain business connections in New Zealand. Sandra regularly travels locally and internationally to build her networks and attend technology and business conferences.

Prior to setting up Shine, she held the role of Marketing Manager at SmartNet for seven years. SmartNet is the largest New Zealand innovation network, connecting government, academics, industry, entrepreneurs and researchers and assisting organisations to pursue new opportunities. Sandra's link with SmartNet continues today.

Sandra holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Psychology from the University of Canterbury.
